SC Clinical Officer
KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:
- S/he is the in charge of the stabilization centre
- Daily clinical examinations of all patients in SC withhigh level of suspicion of medical complications.
- Prescription of the correct dosages and timely treatment of Severely Malnourished Children withroutine medications/therapeutic feeds based on the National/WHO guidelines
- Provide technical support to the Nursesand the Nutrition Assistants
- Filling in the CCPs in the correct manner taking care of details and be updating them daily
- Admission Registers Books to be filledappropriately
- Timely referral/transfers of patients to the available facilities
- Phones on duringthe night-time for remote consultations
- Reporting of Cholera/Measles outbreak immediately to the concerned authorities
- Have critical clinical judgment and analysis of the patients and be able to diagnose 90% of diseases with only history taking.
- Compiling weekly and monthly reports on timely manner.
- Ensuring that the nutrition staff are getting proper supervision, coaching, and mentorship to improve their skills and professionalism.
- Making sure, the cleaners/cooks are doing their work timely to avoid delay.
- Timely requisition of supplies and stock management.

Qualifications
- Diploma in clinical medicine
- 2 years’experience working in the stabilization Center with INGOs

CAPP Data Gathering Specialist (Data Analyst)
Save the Children International (SCI) is undergoing significant transformation across a number of core business procedures, systems, and structures, through the implementation of a number of High Performing Organization (HPO) Change Projects.
One Programme is CAPP (Coding, Agresso, PPM PRIME) which has four core strands:
- Deploys a new global financial data model and finance system (Agresso)
- Introduce a new project management methodology (PMM) to improve the quality of our programming for children
- Deliver a technology solution (PRIME) that enables the new PMM
- Deliver this solution not only to Save the Children International but also across the Membership
This programme will transform existing project management, monitoring and financial data management processes into standardised systems and solutions.
This is a great opportunity for someone with one year of experience in data analysis and data entry to develop an understanding of charity sector project management processes and interventions as well as an insight into results frameworks, monitoring and evaluation data we use to track our impact as an organisation. This role provides insight into Save the Children Alliance’s project portfolio and operational environment and would be ideal for someone looking to understand project management tools and methods used in development/charity projects.
The CAPP Data Gathering Specialist will be one of two people coordinating with the Country Offices to collect and support the transposition of Project & Award Data in preparation for office adoption of new systems and processes. They will be completing reviews to ensure that content is valid and verified as accurately reflecting what has been agreed by Member and Donor organisations ahead of entry into the PRIME system.

Programme Officer (WASH Officer)
ROLE PURPOSE:
The incumbent of this position represents Save the Children values and principles in interactions with staff and external audiences. These values and principles include commitment to the mission of Save the Children international, team orientation, quality management and leadership development, introducing systems and procedures to strengthen staff motivation and productivity.
In response to the ongoing food insecurity and crisis in South Sudan, humanitarian actors are providing assistance and alleviate the suffering of the people. Having its experience in South Sudan for over 20 years, Save the Children will implement this livelihood based response that integrates WASH in Aweil East, Northern Bahr El Ghazal State through SSJR 3. The South Sudan Joint Response 3 (SSJR 3) Project aims to saving lives and alleviate suffering of those most in need of assistance and protection, and protect the rights and uphold the dignity of the most vulnerable.
The post holder will be responsible for overall community mobilization and engagement, timely planning, coordination, implementation, monitoring and review of the project. The post holder will specifically oversee the Emergency Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) components of the South Sudan Joint Response Emergency Project – Phase 3 (SSJR 3) for its successful implementation according to approved donor and government agreements. It will also ensure that the human, material and financial resources of the project are well managed in line with plan financial, grant management and other approved guidelines in close collaboration with the project and other team members. In the event of a major humanitarian emergency, the role holder will be expected to work outside the normal role profile and be able to vary working hours accordingly.
SCOPE OF ROLE:

KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY :
- To ensure the Emergency Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) component of the project is implemented according to the approved donor and government agreements.
- Conduct baseline assessment on community needs, existing WASH related initiatives (water supply, sanitation and hygiene), existing infrastructures and capacities in WASH, and identify the project intervention’s sites.
- Prepare annual, quarterly and monthly action plans of project activities related to WASH, including checklist for assessments, monitoring, review and evaluation of project activities.
- Responsible for specifying and ordering required materials for WASH interventions with in planned timeframe
- Ensure goods and stocks are properly recorded and distributed in accordance with funding documentation.
- Mobilise the community to participate in the project and encourage all groups to participate in the project
- Facilitate trainings and promotional activities towards improving the hygiene and sanitation practices of the local experts and communities
- Ensure that WASH activities are integrated with other activities for optimum benefit of the beneficiaries.
- Work with project SSJR 3, other project team members and WASH Technical Advisor at the CO to identify the technical support needs of the project and ensure this support is provided
- Develop and regularly update a detailed project work plan guiding the project implementation and ensure this is used by the project team to monitor project progress towards completion the WASH component of the project.
- Coordinate and attend WASH related meetings at County levels
- Liaise with other actors for appropriate response in WASH sector in close consultation with the immediate supervisors

- Understanding of and experience in the project implementation techniques, participatory planning, implementation and monitoring basic practices;
- Experience in assessment, design, bill of quantity preparation and hygiene promotion tools in WASH
- Proven skills on managing changes, achieving results, ensuring quality, team building and capacity building.
