Weighbridge Clerk

Job Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently complete the entry of weight slips in the weighbridge system.
  • Ensure that all deliveries have relevant documentation.
  • Accurately and promptly capture all receipt loads over the weighbridge.
  • Ensure that samples are taken and delivery is approved before allowing delivery vehicles to enter the premises.
  • Implement health, safety, and environmental practices at the weighing section to prevent accidents or near misses.
  • Control traffic at the weighbridge.
  • Work with the health and safety committee to identify risks and hazards, and implement recommended safety measures.
  • Collaborate with the production team and logistics team internally and service contractors externally.

Job Qualifications & Experience:

  • Diploma in Procurement and Supplies Accounting or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of weighbridge experience.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel and Word).
  • HSE basic courses (preferred).
  • Proficiency in SAP and progressive experience in a manufacturing and warehousing environment.

Technical Storekeeper

Job Responsibilities:

  • Inspect incoming deliveries for any damage or discrepancies, promptly reporting them to the accounting department for reimbursements and record-keeping purposes.
  • Receive shipments of goods and safely unload trucks, ensuring products are stored in optimal conditions.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of stockroom activities and manage documentation to confirm proper stock levels, contributing to effective inventory control.
  • Keep the warehouse premises clean, organized, and in compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Prioritize your own health and safety, adhering to all company policies and procedures while working in a safe and orderly manner.
  • Coordinate with service contractors to ensure timely completion of job cards.
  • Ensure minimum stock levels are maintained at all times and initiate requisitions during reorder periods.
  • Provide daily reconciliation reports on inventory status.

Job Qualifications:

  • Diploma in Storekeeping, Procurement and Supplies, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in a storekeeping role, preferably within a busy manufacturing organization.
  • Firefighting and HSE basic courses (preferred).
  • Proficiency in SAP and MRP systems.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing and warehousing environment is highly desirable.

Utilities Attendant

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform pipe welding, bonding, and repairs, including high-pressure piping.
  • Conduct pipe threading for various plumbing and pipe fitting requirements.
  • Handle plumbing and pipe fitting tasks related to GI, PPR, PVC, aluminium, cast-iron, alloys, and stainless steel, among other materials.
  • Operate and maintain utilities equipment such as water pumps, boilers, refrigeration systems, fire systems, compressed air systems, cooling towers, chillers, and water supply and treatment systems.
  • Interpret engineering drawings and designs to execute plumbing and pipe fitting tasks accurately.
  • Manage workshop processes including fabrication, precision fitting, machining, and pipe fitting.
  • Operate CNC welding and cutting machines effectively.
  • Perform surface preparation and coating of metals, including powder coating and zinc metalizing.
  • Conduct heat treatment of metals as required.
  • Plan and execute work tasks, including leading a team if necessary.
  • Collaborate with the health and safety committee to identify risks and hazards, implementing safety recommendations and complying with safety requirements

Job Qualifications & Experience:

  • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering specializing in Plumbing/Pipe Fitting from a reputable institution OR a final craft certificate with demonstrated experience.
  • Over 5 years of continuous and detailed experience in plumbing and pipe fitting, working with materials such as GI, PPR, PVC, aluminium, cast-iron, alloys, and stainless steel.
  • Familiarity with hot work permits, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and occupational health and safety procedures.
  • Knowledge of fire safety procedures.
  • Proficiency in using advanced plumbing tools and methodologies.
  • Familiarity with various workshop processes

  • Precision repair, fitting, and rebuilding of mechanical parts.
  • Specialized welding, repair, and rebuilding of pipes.
  • Precision in workshop processes and the usage and maintenance of workshop machines, including welding appliances.
