Marketing Associate
JOB PURPOSE
Responsible for primary and administrative duties for marketing department. Will also assist in organizing campaigns and developing marketing strategies.
Key duties responsibilities among others will be:-
- Assisting the marketing manager and supporting the fast food brands with marketing activities and organizing various projects
- Undertake daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and co-ordination of department’s activities
- Organizing and managing promotional or digital marketing events/activities/exhibitions, booking venues and attending them to facilitate their required success
- Collation, coordinating, ordering marketing materials and the production and delivery of a wide range of marketing materials, information and communication to all fast-food stores in a timely manner
- Scheduling/planning, composing and sending promotional messages to customer database on time
- Conduct market research, analyse and monitor competitor activities, consumer rating reports /questionnaires
- Write marketing literature (Brochures, press releases etc.) to augment the company’s presence in the market
- Employ marketing analytic techniques to gather important data (social media, web analytics, rankings etc.)
- Routine store visits to ensure that all marketing materials are displayed, updated and correct
- Conduct below the line training when needed
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing
- Prior success working in a marketing-related position.
- Familiarity with user research, advertising campaigns and other marketing areas
- Team-player attitude and willingness to perform a variety of roles.
- Emotional intelligence for navigating interactions with customers.
Head Chef
JOB PURPOSE
To manage the resources of the kitchen and to ensure that the support systems to the Kitchen, restaurant and outdoor function operations are running effectively and within budget. To control and supervise the preparation and presentation of food in line with company standards and brand requirements.
Key duties responsibilities among others will be:-
- Ensure quality culinary dishes are served timeously and that any problems are addressed immediately.
- Managing food and beverage operations/functions within a budget and to the highest standards
- Ensuring consistency in meal preparation
- Meet customer requirements in terms of special requests and dietary needs
- Design menus that enhance customer’s culinary experience while keeping up high quality
- Ensuring that the kitchen adheres to sanitation, health and safety laws
- Control kitchen costs to ensure store meets budget and increase profitability
- Control kitchen expenses with regards to maintenance, repairs and other related expenses
- Ensure daily, weekly and monthly stock counts, ordering and delivery notes are processed in line with procedures
- Evaluating staff performance and managing the team to deliver desired results
- Liaise with HR and be actively involved in ensuring quality of new kitchen staff during the recruitment process
- Ensure full compliance with all local health and safety requirements
- Staying up-to-date with culinary trends and kitchen processes
QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree/Diploma in Culinary Arts or related field
- Proven experience as Head chef
- Creativity and superior culinary skills
- Prior management experience in a similar kitchen environment
- Thorough understanding of meat and sea food products
- Excellent organizational skills to ensure the smooth running of a kitchen
- The ability to constantly perform well in a high pressure and fast-paced environment
